The primary aim of this work has been to analyse and progress data capture and sharing across the region to improve the outcomes for children aged 0-7. A multi-agency steering group has:

Conducted data mapping exercises and agreed processes/methods for measuring population need across the region.

Coordinated the measurement and reporting of the outcomes of commissioned programmes as part of the EY transformation delivery.

Explored the regional development of an early years vulnerability profiling tool.

Designed, and developed a dashboard to gather regional data sets with the potential to enable effective monitoring of outcome measures.

Explored measures of tracking a child’s progress through the early years system
