About the Cwm Taf Public Services Board
Cwm Taf Public Services Board was established by the Well-being of Future Generations (Wales) Act. The Act makes all the public bodies involved think more about the long term, work better with people, communities and each other, look to prevent problems and take a more joined-up approach to its work. Our overall aim is for Cwm Taf to contribute to the seven national well-being goals for Wales:
The PSB’s purpose is to ensure everyone works together to improve the well-being of our communities, now and in the future, through effective partnership working. As a PSB we will follow the Act’s sustainable development principle to help the PSB work together better, avoid repeating past mistakes and tackle some of the long-term challenges we are facing in the Cwm Taf areas of Rhondda Cynon Taf and Merthyr Tydfil.
