Helping to tackle Climate Change is a priority for RCT Council.  We have already committed to being a Carbon Neutral Council by 2030 and doing everything we can to help the County Borough to be as close as possible to Carbon Neutral by the same date.

We have started to think about what this will mean for the Council and for the County Borough in our draft Climate Change strategy which you can find here.  You can find more information about some of the work the Council is already doing, in the Climate Change Cabinet Steering Group.

We are now starting a Climate Conversation to help to shape and develop the plans that will help to achieve both of the Council’s Climate goals.  We would love you to get involved and to hear your views.
